Careers Course: The Time is Now
Our career course ‘The Time is Now’ offers a 5-week online programme designed to boost your confidence, and help you focus on where you go next.
What can I expect from The Time is Now?
Over the 5 weeks, guest experts cover the following topics:
Confidence: Discover ways to boost your self-confidence and self-esteem, ready for the next chapter in your life.
CV’s: How create or develop your CV to get the most out of it.
Job searching and application: How to look for jobs and how to complete your application.
Goal setting and bonus session: Plan out the next steps to achieving your goal.
Interview Technique: Learn the best ways to prepare for interviews and how to deal with nerves.

Spring & Fall into Work: Jobs Fairs and Employer Presentations
Open to all residents of south Manchester, our Spring & Fall into Work events are free and welcoming spaces where you can get careers support and advice, plus access to lots of varied jobs and training opportunities.

We know that formal employment events can be daunting and speaking to recruiters can be a challenge. What makes this programme different is that Southway staff are here to guide and support you into having a successful experience when talking to potential employers.
