Now more than ever it’s important that everyone has access to and knowledge of using the internet. It can help us to keep in touch with our family and friends, find entertainment, work from home, online shop, pay bills and use the bank, keep fit and healthy, and much more.

Unfortunately there are people in our communities who are missing out because they aren't confident online - and don't know that we can help.

If you don't have access to a device or the internet

We have laptops and tablets that we can send straight to residents' homes as part of our Loan scheme. We prioritise those most in need, like tenants with children who need access to the internet for school, or people who are vulnerable and isolated. You can even purchase one like it at the end of your loan at a discounted price.

Sign yourself or someone else up for our Loan scheme by leaving your details here.

If you don't know how to use to a device or the internet

Our Digital Inclusion Officer and Digi Champions are here to help you! Digi Champs are local volunteers who will guide you through using a computer and discovering all the fantastic benefits the internet has to offer.

There’s no charge and you can ask the Digi Champ to tailor their advice to your needs. So if your priority is staying in touch with friends and family, they can help you to set up an email account and advise you about social media and video calls.

The service is still available during social distancing - they can train you over the phone, via video, or provide resources, whatever suits you.

Sign yourself or someone else up for digital support by leaving your details here.

If you're computer-savvy - and you want to do something to help

You could become one of our Digi Champions and make a real difference to someone's everyday life during this difficult and, for many, isolated time.

You don’t need to be a computer whizz or complete any extensive training to help out, just have some general knowledge of using computers and navigating the internet. We're told that it is a rewarding role and great experience for the CV.

If you want to help others, sign up here.
