This Age Friendly scheme for people aged 55 and over is currently under development and due for completion in Summer 2024.
The scheme comprises of 42 one-bedroom self-contained apartments for up to two people and the homes are available for affordable rent.
Key features include:
- Fully fitted modern kitchen with oven, hob, and flooring
- Bathroom with walk in shower.
- On site parking (first come, first served)
- Communal garden
- Facilities for storing and charging mobility scooters allocated on a first come, first served basis.
- Smaller apartments which are easier to maintain and cheaper to heat.
- Virgin Media TV available throughout
Who can apply?
- Preference will be given to people living within 3 miles of the development. People moving to the area to be near local family or other support within 3 miles of the development will also be considered.
- Allocations are pet friendly, which means you may be able to bring a small dog or cat (please mention this in your application).
If you currently live within 3 miles of the development, or need to move to be closer to family or other support which is within 3 miles, you could be considered for an apartment. If you live further away but need to move for health reasons, you may also meet the criteria.
