Your opinions and ideas are at the heart of what we do, and hearing your feedback is essential so that we can make sure we improve services and focus on what matters most to you.
One of the ways we do this is by carrying out surveys, and we are starting a new one on Monday 22 January.
Here are some more details about it:
What will the survey be about?
You will be asked questions about the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) that have been introduced by the Regulator of Social Housing.
We’re required by the government to do this every year and we get a research company to carry it out to make sure it is independent and reliable.
Who will be ringing me?
The Survey will be conducted by research company ARP Research and their partners Prevision Research. They will interview a representative sample of our tenants by telephone between 22nd January and 21st February 2024.
The calls will be made between 10am and 9pm Monday to Friday and come from the phone number 01908 278310. This is the number of the Prevision Research call centre and the caller will say they are from Prevision Research.
Will Southway see what I say?
Any link between your identity and the answers you give is removed by ARP Research before they send us the results of the survey, unless you give explicit consent to being identified.
Are all tenants going to get a call?
The tenants taking part have been randomly selected by ARP and this is a recommended way of doing a survey like this. The survey is completed every year, so if you haven’t been selected you may get a chance to take part in a future survey. You will also have been sent a paper copy of the STAR survey in 2023.
What happens after survey is finished?
At the end of every financial year we, along with all other social housing landlords, will publish the results from this survey.
Anything else I need to know?
Every tenant who takes part in the survey will be entered into a free prize draw, with a top prize of £100 and four prizes of £50.
