Southway tenants get two ‘rent free’ weeks per year, one at Christmas and the other at the beginning of April. If you’re a Direct Debit payer paying weekly, fortnightly or four weekly, this means you can get payment breaks on these weeks, where we don’t take your Direct Debit payment.
To get the payment break this April your account must have no arrears by Monday 22nd February. You can check your balance and make a payment on your MySouthway Portal.
Many tenants have a very small amount of arrears which could be cleared by either making a one off payment or paying a small amount off each week.
So check your account, and see if you could benefit from a payment break at Easter!
