Southway Housing Trust has taken swift legal action to protect the victim of an unprovoked attack and uphold the safety of our communities.
Following a serious incident on the Old Moat Estate, the County Court Civil Justice Centre granted our application for a 12-month Interim Injunction which meant the attacker could be arrested if they approached the victim or their family.
On Monday 16 June at a second hearing at the Justice Centre, the interim injunction was made a full Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction which will remain in place until 6 June 2026.
We want to reassure all residents that we firmly believe violence of any kind is unacceptable. As your landlord, we are committed to taking swift and firm action to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment for everyone.
