Courses run regularly. Childcare Levels 2 and 3 including help finding a placement, and Health & Social Care Level 2. There is also support to get a Level 2 in Warehousing and Storage with our partner at FareShare.

1:30 – 3:30 New Book Club which uses audio books and tactile images. Great for visually impaired and sighted people alike to explore art, history, and nature in a friendly social environment.

Friends of Ladybarn Park

Meet Tuesdays 10:00 – 12:00 and the last Saturday of the month 10:00 – 12:00.
An Action Group of volunteers who dedicate time to keep the park beautiful and safe for residents to use Refreshments available free of charge, hand tools provided, and all levels of skill and commitment are most welcome. Regular events, fundraisers, activities and meetings are run for people with a wide range of interests.


Friends of Old Moat Park

Meet the first Sunday of every month for a litter pick of the park in partnership with Grace Church Manchester. They also meet quarterly to raise issues with the park and plan/implement improvements. Over the years, the Friends have put in new paths and fencing, new equipment and planted 1000s of bulbs. New volunteers always welcome.
