The fund is here to help anyone with an idea to improve their community and bring neighbours together.
You can apply for up to £1,500 to support a project or idea that helps make South Manchester a place where people are proud to live.
The theme of the fund is neighbourliness. This could mean anything from a local event to a new community space, big or small. It’s about bringing people together.
Here are a few examples:
- Improving green spaces
- Funding a local football team
- Hosting coffee mornings
- Organising neighbourly meet-ups
Your project should focus on things like:
- Helping your neighbours
- Caring for your community
- Encouraging community spirit
Getting people talking and connecting
