Are you aged 18-34? We’re excited to announce that we’re launching our new Young Residents Group, giving you the chance to connect with other young people, have your say on the things that matter to you most, receive updates and opportunities, and help shape the future of both your community and the services we provide here at Southway.
The group has been created following our recent Next Generation Voice survey, where we asked residents aged 18-34 what matters to them most and how they’d like to engage with us.
We heard that young people want to see visible action and real change and they value welcoming spaces that allow them to share their views comfortably and confidently, giving them the opportunity to have their voices heard.
To help make that happen, we’re inviting young residents to join us for our first Young Residents Group gathering this autumn.
The event will be a relaxed and informal opportunity to:
- Meet and connect with other young Southway residents
- Share ideas about the things that matter to you most
- Hear about updates and opportunities
- Have your say in shaping this new group and future gatherings
Free pizza and drinks will be provided. All attendees will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a £50 shopping voucher!
