We’re really pleased first time buyers will soon move into their new homes as phase one of our new housing scheme at Christie Road, Stretford, completes.
The 10 three-bedroom houses were available to buy through shared ownership with our Gecko Homes sales team and have already all been reserved.
Each home has an air source heat pump and is energy efficient which will help residents with bills. Electric car charging points have also been provided for each home.
Phase two of the scheme will be even more exciting as it features 50 new one and two-bedroom apartments, 11 of which will be available for social rent and 39 for shared ownership. All of these will be completed in spring 2027.
The £19.8 million brownfield development was delivered with the support of Trafford Council as part of its strategic housing ambitions for the borough. It was supported by funding from Homes England and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) through the Brownfield Housing Fund.
