Celebrating Cultural Diversity – February: Asian Culture
We have diverse communities and customers with a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. Southway is launching a series of sessions through the year to celebrate and explore the rich cultures and vibrant traditions, such as arts, food, music, dance, film, fashion, language, festivals, and more. Our first theme for February is Celebrating Asian Culture.

Southway customers are invited to join us:
Chinese New Year Crafts, Customs & Calligraphy
Activities include making decorative crafts and red pockets, as well as exploring Chinese calligraphy and the Chinese zodiac (2026 is the Year of the Horse!).
Families and kids are welcome. Drop-in and first-come-first-served

A welcoming online space for customers to share their Asian cultures, as well as for anyone interested in learning more about them

Japanese & Indian Food Cooking
Come and enjoy cooking together as we make a Japanese soup and an Indian dish (all vegan)
