Tenants' vote for Southway

Manchester City Council tenants in Burnage, Chorlton, Didsbury and Withington were asked to vote on proposals to switch management of their homes to Southway Housing Trust in a four-week ballot in February 2007.

The result of the ballot was:

Turnout: 73%
YES to Southway: 59%

The result gave Southway the backing it needs from the people that matter.
