About 30 people die from carbon monoxide poisoning every year in Britain because of faulty gas equipment.
But as a Southway tenant you get a free service and check of your gas equipment and smoke alarms to keep you safe and warm. And it's not just a one-off . . . we come round every year to make sure everything’s up-to-scratch.
We've teamed-up with a company called PH Jones. Their fully-qualified gas engineers give your home the expert treatment to help keep your heating bills down, and give you peace of mind too.

We’ve got 6,000 homes to check this year, so we won’t come to everyone immediately - we’ll write to you when it’s your turn with an appointment time. We’ll tell you how to check the engineer’s identification too.
The law says you have to let us in to do this vital work. If you stick to the appointment, and let us in first time, you'll go into a monthly cash prize draw. If you're first out of the hat in your area you win £25! But if you don't let us in you face a £765 bill - the cost of us going to court to get permission to enter your home.
