Southway Housing Trust

A not-for-profit landlord managing and improving over 5,900 homes in South Manchester
Want a seat on our board?
Join us, and make a difference!

A seat on our board gives you a great opportunity to make a real
difference to Southway people.
Our board of 12 volunteers makes policies and plans for Southway. It sets wider aims and objectives and makes sure that our staff meet standards of service.
We're looking for three new board members to join us . . .
Two tenant board members
Are you a Southway tenant with local knowledge, and a commitment to improving the lives and environments of other residents?
One independent board member
Are you from a professional or business background; preferably with experience of housing development or construction?
If you join our board you'll make decisions that affect our tenants; so true dedication to their needs and aspirations is essential. And you'd be expected to devote some time to the role, which will include regular meetings. All in all, it's a great chance to make a difference to people living in south Manchester.
We'd particularly welcome interest from people from ethnic minorities and women who are under-represented in this area.
