Help to secure your dream job this October

This Autumn we invite you to a full month of employment events designed to help residents secure fantastic jobs and training opportunities.

Fall into Work will feature another large Jobs Fair at Burnage Academy for Boys, as well as Employer Presentations delivered at the local hubs Barlow Moor Community Association and Westcroft Community Centre.

October Jobs Fair

On Wednesday 30th October 10am - 2pm we will be running another large Jobs Fair in Burnage, free and open to all tenants and residents.

Attendees will be able to meet lots of key employers with hundreds of job vacancies available across a range of industries, including many of the Airport opportunities. Around 4000 new jobs are being created as a result of the new Manchester Airport expansion alone, and we plan to help tenants and residents take full advantage of these opportunities.
Like our last Jobs Fair in April there will also be support organisations attending and workshops running all day to provide advice on topics like CV-writing, interview skills, and becoming self-employed.

You can drop in anytime, but to take part in the workshops and skills sessions we advise coming along early enough to sign up to a session of your choice.

Employer Presentations

This October, through ‘Fall into Work’, you can meet these employers face-to-face and learn about jobs they have available. Find out what they are looking for and how to apply by attending one of our presentation events:
