Pay rent
Use your bank debit card or your credit card to pay rent over the internet. If you don't want to pay online, see other ways to pay rent.
If you pay online the money will go into your rent account within two working days. If you use a credit card, you might be better off paying by debit card instead - it usually works out cheaper. You can pay Council Tax and other council bills online too.
Southway is a new organisation. We are still using Manchester City Council's systems to deliver some of our services - including online rent payments. So when you choose 'pay on line' below you will go to a page on the City Council website. Don't worry, the rent you pay will go into your Southway rent account, not to the Council. This is a temporary arrangement - you will be able to pay rent directly through the Southway website soon.
