GRADUATE / COLLEGE or SCHOOL LEAVER OPPORTUNITY
Location: Southway Housing Trust Didsbury, Manchester
Duration: 6 Months
Salary: £13,104 pro-rata for 16 hours to £5,990
Southway Housing Trust is a “not for profit Landlord, managing and improving 5,900 residential properties in South Manchester. We have an exciting new job opportunity for a person seeking to gain valuable office experience.
If you have not had much chance to gain experience of working in an office, Southway may have the opportunity for you to gain some clerical and administration experience. And we will pay you.
You will need to:
• Have an ability to write letters and simple reports in clear English
• Have good touch typing skills (with a speed of at least 40wpm)
• Be able to perform basic clerical functions
• Have a good knowledge of Word
• Have good self organisation skills
• Have the skills to research solutions to simple problems in an office
environment
• Have good verbal communication skills
• A flexible & enthusiastic approach to work
In return we will offer you the chance to gain valuable office and work experience, which we hope will help you get a job. You also have the choice of working 16 or 20 hours per week for 6 months and we will work with you to establish a working pattern that fits around your studies or other commitments.
