We understand how important your home is to you, and we are determined to provide affordable, high quality accommodation in safe, secure and clean neighbourhoods.
We are currently working hard towards meeting, and in many cases exceeding, the government’s Decent Homes Standards. Our plans, in consultation with all our customers, include:
• Replacing all kitchens and bathrooms that haven’t been improved since 1999.
• Fitting PVCu windows in all homes.
• Upgrading central heating systems where required.
• Fitting cavity wall and loft insulation where needed.
• Repair or replacement of roofs where needed.
• Upgrading electrical wiring where needed.
• Fitting adaptations for disabled and older people where needed.
We are currently investing £10 million to make environmental and security improvements to your neighbourhood.
