People barred from re-housing
People barred from rehousing
The Rehousing Review List (RRL)
The Rehousing Review List (RRL) is a list of names and addresses of people who are not allowed to get a Southway home because of something they have done.
It's a strict but reasonable policy:
- it won't affect any legal rights to rehousing that we owe you
- we don't want to make things worse if you're suffering violence, fear or harassment
- everyone on the RRL has the chance to know exactly why they are listed, and what to do to get off the list
- there is a clear and easy way to appeal against being on the list
- we review the policy's effect regularly
How would the RRL affect you?
If you apply for a home, and your name is on the RRL, we may not offer you a home until you have put things right - or until we're satisfied that your behaviour has changed and you will be a suitable tenant. You may also be barred from getting a home with other landlords in the Manchester Housing Register (Homefinder website).
